In Memoriam : Sir Nigel Hawthorne 1929 - 2001

Nigel Hawthorne's memoirs, which he completed just two days before he died, were released on June 6th 2002 by publishers Hodder and Stoughton. The book was promised to be a "a lovely, whimsical, entirely personal account of his life." Hawthorne's old friend and writer of "Yes Minister", Sir Anthony Jay had big hopes for the new venture. "Nigel is a very nice and very introspective man. I would expect a lot of insights into himself, but not too much vitriol about others." Read more here.
